Our Admission Procedure

School Visit

We request parents to visit the school with the child, fill out an enquiry form and give basic information to our admission counsellor. After a detailed discussion, a guided school tour is conducted. We recommend visiting during school hours to understand the school's functionality, observe learning sessions and see engaged students.

Registration Form

Once parents and the child decide to proceed with the admission process, a registration form needs to be filled up to provide information on previous education, medical history, etc. The form can be obtained from the school office by paying Rs. 500/-

Fitment Interaction

The respective class teacher will assess the child for fitment and evaluate if the child can attend the class as desired by the parents. The likely outcomes are admission to the class or to the same class with an action plan to work on or to admit the child to a lower class if they do not match any of the learning outcomes required for the given class.

Admission

Once the class is finalised, a formal meeting is held between the parents and the Head of the Institution. No child is rejected based on the parents’ education or standing.

Age Criteria

For Junior KG, the age range of a child is between 3.5 and 4.5 years, and for Senior KG, it is between 4.5 and 5.5 years. For Grade 1, a child must be above 5.5 by June of the academic year. E.g. for June 2023 admission, a child born in the calendar year 2019 will be admitted to Junior KG, a child born in the calendar year 2018 to Senior KG and a child born in the calendar year 2017 to Grade 1.

Shivapranav Karnam, Manthanite since 2018 1

Manthan is a very unique and extraordinary school. It's a place of discipline, encouragement, and support that makes kids strong-willed, intelligent, and pragmatic leaders in whatever interest they pursue. I have been in Manthan for four years and could not have asked for a more supportive, caring, and close-knit community. Manthan has many academic and extracurricular activities to participate in, from social activism to music. As a student, I have been grateful for our teachers' approachability and encouragement to improve and pursue my interests. I believe Manthan is a delightful school and one of the best.
