The focus of our College and Career Counselling Office is two-fold – the first is to help students explore and understand the range of career choices available to them, the second is to help them execute a robust plan to reach their goals.
At Manthan, we believe in a systematic career exploration and college planning approach. The programme is a three-party partnership among the students, the parents and the school. Our counselling office works closely with the families of our students to understand their needs and find the right fit for their children. Our teachers help us understand our students’ academic skills and personalities. They also aid in developing students’ skills through project work.
I have been in Manthan for 11 years and I would definitely say that I find it a very suitable environment for learning. The small class size allows each student to have a sense of familiarity and personalisation that can help everyone thrive. The teachers are also always extremely supportive and go to great lengths to help students learn.

We explain basic terms and ideas while focusing on honing their interests and skills through academic and extracurricular activities.
We conduct an “Ikigai”-based workshop to understand and identify the career parameters. The students also undertake Interest Inventory and Myers-Briggs personality tests to understand the various career options that would best fit their personalities. One-on-one counselling sessions are offered upon request.
We work with students and their parents and guide them through various factors pertaining to college selection, be it the geographic locations, entrance exams, campus or extra co-curricular activity support.
We have weekly classroom sessions that cover topics related to career exploration. We also provide personalised college counselling, review students’ applications and essays, conduct mock interviews and support them in all other key aspects of the college application process.
In keeping with Manthan’s philosophy, our counselling programme takes a holistic approach towards college and career planning. We understand that ‘FIT’ is a critical aspect in selecting potential careers and college majors.

Manthan organises a series of career panels featuring distinguished professionals from various industries. These panels are aimed at helping our high school students explore different career options by hearing first-hand from industry experts. We aim to cover both traditional (Engineering, Medicine, Management etc.) and non-traditional (Media, Filmmaking, Design etc.) career paths.

As part of our commitment to helping our students succeed and excel, Manthan has hosted a 'Careers in Life Sciences (Bio-X and Pharma)' panel. All panellists were parents of Manthanites.
Students were encouraged to use this opportunity to learn more about this dynamic and fast-growing industry and its various career paths. They got to ask all the questions about these professions that they may not have been able to from online resources.
